Heather is a registered and licensed dietitian who is passionate about helping people in the food industry learn how to practice habits that will keep their customers safe. She worked as a consultant dietitian in long-term care for many years, assisting culinary departments in their efforts to achieve and maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation, and now offers the ServSafe Manager and Food Handler courses to reach a broader audience of food service professionals with this important information. Connie Altmeyer, CDM CFPP
Connie has been a certified dietary manager for 15 years and has worked in the food industry most of her life. She is an excellent manager who holds her staff to high sanitation standards. She is knowledgeable not just about sanitation regulations, but is experienced at putting them into practice, and has even developed policies that have been adopted by large corporations. She is responsible for the monthly in-servicing of 50 staff members at the continuous care retirement community where she is employed and has also been a preceptor for students seeking to become certified dietary managers. She is an excellent ServSafe instructor because of her knowledge on the subject and her passion for teaching.
